Hi, I’m Gemma.

I’m not usually one to share much about myself, but as I embark on this new chapter, you ought to know a little bit about me.

I grew up on my family’s dairy farm, alongside my parents and younger brother. With animals (especially horses) and open space, my childhood taught me the value of hard work, resilience and care.

These values have stayed with me. Today, I live on a dairy farm with my husband and our two beautiful young children (that’s them in the picture painting my face)! I work at home alongside my husband and his family on our very busy farm and children’s attraction. Like many parents, I have a lot of plates spinning all at once. My days are full and at times overwhelming, but it’s the small, meaningful moments that make it all worthwhile.

The idea for Wheelock Hall Farm Toy Shop began while watching my children play with their own toys — I felt both pride and inspiration. It reminded me how powerful play can be, not just for fun, but for learning, imagination, and connection.

I feel a deep sense of pride for the farming community that I’m a part of. It is my hope that through this venture, I can help promote the industry to children, in a way that’s accessible and affordable for families.

How it works

Once you have purchased your toys, they will be lovingly wrapped in 100% recycled packaging. I do not buy any packaging in, to help reduce waste by reusing boxes and bubble wrapping. If the product is in stock, we will process your order in 1-2 days and send you confirmation via email. We offer reasonably priced delivery via reliable couriers or we offer a FREE CLICK AND COLLECT SERVICE. Simply come to Wheelock Hall Farm with your proof of purchase and collect your item. Further details of this process will be provided once you have placed your order.

Additionally, with every order, you have the option to chose a piece of education material included FREE of charge with your order. Colouring sheets, puzzles and game sheets all centred around farming, nature, animals and more. Just select during the checkout process.
